WHAT IS KNOWLEDGE, AND OF WHAT DO WE NEED TO BE AWARE?

The Numbers I find of interest are 3 and 7 - All the numbers are of importance yet some feature more importantly than the others. For example 6 is a spiral into matter the number 9 is the spiral out of matter.

Of course another interpretation is that 6 has a three missing it is 2 X 3.

9 is complete 3 x 3. Three Triads. This word will be returned to again and again.

For example: Instinct, Intellect and Intuition! The capital I as a glyph is a standing human. Stand up put your arms by your side and see yourself as a capital I because you are one. So three I’s and that little group of words shows our progress from animal to human to more than human.

Intuition is the seventh sense. Seven senses No!  - Yes: Taste, vision, hearing, touch, olfactory are all inputting into the mind all the time. Out of all the billions of bits of information you select six or seven “bits” into your memory (many people do not let anything in, they have gained an education and therefore do not need to do any more. Ignorance is bliss).

Memory is the sixth sense because you use it to compare and adjust your life accordingly. Memory also holds all the deep structures of language and grammar which you of course use to communicate.

Language is really odd and we will return to that. So the selector observes analyses and then comments. Three clear yet not always obvious, steps (another Triad).

I also like the triad of the observer - that which is observed, and the means of observation.                NB It is not always sight by which we observe.

Back to the seven sense. Five senses, memory then synthesis equals the intuitional mind.

Synthetic minds are not easily developed; the five senses plus memory cannot do it. It is developed through meditation.

Above I have mentioned TIME. You need time to observe, to learn to think to meditate, No that is not true. Meditation may start in time but the state is not in time. Timelessness is meditation. Now we are at the point where words fail. Why do the fail? Because intellect is limited and in time. It appears that when Eve gave the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge to Adam it may have been a narcotic and the side effect was TIME. The intellect can say, “I can meditate, I am aware”. If you are aware of being aware you are in a duality, time. That is not awareness. In the state of awareness when you are absorbed by the situation then synthesis occurs “naturally” because you are communing with the Universe and it responds by a synthetic view. Meditation cannot be entered by intellect because they are mutually exclusive! It might start the process but it cannot finish it. It has to stop interpreting and be still.

Then the other IS. Can you guess what the IS, Is?

Back to 3. So why are 3 and 7 linked? If we use A, B & C to represent the numbers one, two and three, then how many combinations can three items generate? Let us see we have A, B, C, AB, AC, BC and ABC. Which equals 7. You can only get seven combinations from three.

Three primary colours are contained within the seven colours of the rainbow.

The atom is made up of Protons, Neutrons and Electrons. The electron whirls round the atom in 7 valency levels, dependent upon the matter involved. Valency can be looked up on various Web sites So I will leave that to you,
